Terms and Conditions.

Please read our terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions include, for example, our cancellation and refund policy. By booking a tour with us, you confirm that you agree to these terms and conditions.

General conditions:

Bookings are confirmed when Kiddi's Travel ehf. has received full payment. When bookings are confirmed, we send you a confirmation email, and then a binding contract is in place.

All cancellations must be sent to Kiddi's Travel ehf. in written form via email to booking@kiddistravel.is.

All tours are prepaid in full. All rates are quoted and presented in Icelandic Krona (ISK). Prices are per tour and include VAT and all other taxes. We reserve the right to increase prices in the event of currency fluctuations, taxes, or other cost increases out of our control. Tickets purchased before the increase will not be affected by the rise. Any changes may incur change fees. To amend a booking, please send us a written request to booking@kiddistravel.is. Guests must follow the tour operator's directions regarding safety and compliance with Icelandic law and regulations.

By participating in our trips, you grant Kiddi's Travel ehf. the right to use any film or photographic record of your trip for promotional and/or commercial purposes.

With your safety in mind, Kiddi's Travel ehf. reserves the right to cancel a tour or change the itinerary due to weather conditions or other factors beyond our control. Guests must follow our guides' directions regarding safety and regulations that align with Icelandic law. Kiddi's Travel ehf. does not assume responsibility for accidents caused by customers' reckless behavior or failure to notify of any unusual or medical needs. Reckless behavior refers to actions that disregard safety instructions provided by guides.

Remember to take out travel insurance before your journey. Residents of EU/EEA countries should bring their European Health Insurance Card (E-111 form) in case of illness or the need for medical care.

Cancellation & refund policy:

All cancellations must be sent to Kiddi's Travel ehf. in written form via email to booking@kiddistravel.is.

Full refunds are provided if cancellation occurs at least 3 days prior to the tour.

No refunds are issued for cancellations made less than 3 days before departure or for no-shows.

Clothing and Footwear:

Passengers are responsible for bringing suitable clothing for the trip (e.g., according to the weather)

Iceland's weather can change rapidly, so please ensure your clothing and footwear are appropriate for the tour's conditions. Kiddi's Travel ehf. takes no responsibility for passengers whose clothing or footwear is not appropriate for the weather or conditions, and reserves the right to deny a passenger's participation whose clothing or footwear poses a safety concern.

Cancellations and Changes:

We reserve the right to alter the itinerary and locations, extend or shorten the journey time, or cancel the tour due to weather, road conditions, safety reasons, actions of other agencies/persons/companies, or other unforeseen circumstances. We also reserve the right to change the services, itineraries, and prices described in our leaflets or website. Unforeseen circumstances include but are not limited to severe weather, road closures, or government actions.

We will not change the price of a tour if a booking has been confirmed. We will inform you of the changes as soon as possible. It is the client's responsibility to provide valid contact details.

If Kiddi's Travel ehf. cancels the tour, the client will receive a full refund.

Language:

Our guides will communicate with passengers in English during the tour. By booking the tour with us, you confirm that you have sufficient understanding of English to follow the guide's instructions. Suppose you do not have enough knowledge of the English Language. In that case, you must provide a qualified interpreter and take full responsibility for ensuring the guide's instructions are understood and followed. Passengers must inform us if they wish to bring an interpreter before the tour for further information. A qualified interpreter is someone who is fluent in both English and the passenger's language and can accurately convey safety instructions.

Liability and Passengers' Responsibility:

We advise all passengers to have their own travel insurance. Kiddi's Travel ehf. cannot be held responsible for any mishap occurring to a passenger, and cannot take any responsibility for personal items or luggage belonging to passengers.

Kiddi's Travel ehf. cannot be held responsible for any mishap, damage, loss, accident, injury, sickness, itinerary change, cancellation, incurred cost, default, delay, or other facto behaviorrs that are due to weather, flight cancellations, natural disasters, strikes, actions of other agencies/persons/companies (e.g., airlines, restaurants, police), unforeseen circumstances or that are caused by factors outside the Terms and Conditions.

Privacy policy:

Kiddi's Travel ehf. is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We collect and process personal information only to the extent necessary to provide our services, including but not limited to processing bookings, communicating with customers, and fulfilling legal obligations. The types of personal data we may collect include your name, contact details (such as email and phone number), payment information, and any other information necessary to provide our services.

All personal information will be treated as strictly confidential. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Your information may only be shared with trusted third-party service providers where necessary to deliver our services (such as payment processors), and only under strict confidentiality and data protection obligations.

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

Your personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

You have the right to request access to your personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data (where applicable), and object to or restrict certain processing activities. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
